I seriously am considering transferring to 2degrees with family and friends. It is so hard to get plans canceled or names changed or even just speaking to the service line. The customer service line is rude, sometimes hangs up on you. A manager told me VODAFONE knows where they have an issue to deal with.

I’m very very disappointed with the quality of service provided by both Vodafone and farmside. I’ve been using Vodafone 2016-2022 and it’s been ok in Auckland but in the far north of nz it’s soooooo bad, I cannot even call my relatives via WhatsApp in the evenings because their towers are OVERLOADED (that’s what they say) Overloaded??? By 5000 people living in the region?!!!!! At the same time they are not shy to charge the full amount of $$$ which is 100$ for internet + another 120$ for 2 phones Not even mentioning their customer support - very poor quality VERY DISAPPOINTED and ashamed of their service and hoping they will stop ripping off clients with their poorest support Switching to 2degrees or other as they don’t seem to have such low business approach and they seem to respect their clients time and money Sorry for Vodafone For being so bad

A story about vodafone: Me and my wife moved to New Zealand and our first choice for a mobile carrier was Vodafone given that we used vodafone in the past. We got 2 services from them (made sense to keep them under one banner) Wireless broadband: They offered us we were eligible for a promotion called "super wifi" and that if we filled in a form/applied online we would be given this and the requirement was to stay with V for one year. We applied online and were promised a callback in 24 hours. nothing happened. We repeated this process 4 times and then frustrated we went to the retail store where they said they couldn't do anything for us and the only way was to call the help line. Now without sounding rude V's customer service on the help line is nothing short of garbage. It is the epitome of inefficiency. They said they could not sort it and shuffled us through maybe 4-5 departments with no resolution. We must have spent about 6-8 hours in total (easy) trying to get appropriate assistance. No luck. Finally after 9 months of being on this wifi (literally completed the promo lock in period) we marched to the retail store and demanded help and to escalate the issue to senior management. They literally told us "No we cannot" and told us to call the help-line again! Imagine the audacity! Phone plan: After being on the plan for a year we were offered a better plan rate by Spark and 2Deg. We called the helpline and told them we would be switching. They offered us a promo and said they would somewhat match the price. Now since then they have messed up the billing so many times i cannot even count! they charged us an additional 200$+ for early cancellation (while we were still running V!) then every month they added an extra 10 -15$. We have had to call V like clockwork every billing period because they have somehow managed to max out the probability of human error. At this point my gut tells me that in an attempt to cut costs they have employed a set of mediocre hamsters to manage both customer service and billing. On our phone plans alone we have ended up spending close to 8-10 hours trying to fix errors for them. Vodafone, I am deeply disappointed in your moral ethics, non-existent customer service, faulty calculations and operations. One would think that if a customer called even once reporting an error where you OVERCHARGED them, you'd look into it and make changes so that it NEVER happens again. But to have it happen 4 months in a row and show ZERO responsibility is truly shocking! You have caused a fair amount of unnecessary stress to me and my wife and i sincerely hope that everyone who has taken the time to read this learns from our mistake and choses to go with another carrier/internet provider! Worse Custmer Service Of My Entire Life. See literally all other reviews for reference. Not even worth spending another minute of my life talking about Vodafone after wasting so many hours on the phone to them. Will never return to Vodafone.

I cancelled my Vodafone broadband account three months ago. I still recieve monthly bills and automated phonecalls if I do not pay said bills. Each month I ring Vodafone, the call taker says sorry, tells me that it is now fixed and that I will no longer receive bills. I received another bill today. I have wasted hours of my life calling Vodafone about this and nothing has been done. I have sent a complaint form in today about the issue, but am expecting to recieve an automated phone call in a couple of weeks as well as another bill next month... Everyone save yourself some stress and do not sign up in the first place. There are many other providers in NZ who do not harass their customers who leave them.

Vodafone has the worst customer service!! I don't even want to give you 1 star.. we brought a phone from then 2 months ago and its stopped working out of no where! I have been back and forth with the store and also over the phone and they are absolutely no help! No longer want to be with them but they are telling us we have to pay over $1000 for this phone that does not work to no longer be with them. It is an absolute joke ?? my partner is now losing out on work as no one can contact him!

Vodafone’s customer service is really really bad, I don’t think they are trained properly. I also call the Spark’s customer service, they explain the issue that I had very clear not just let me wait for the line like Vodafone did, even though I’m not a customer of Spark. I will change my telecommunication service to Spark today.

Vodafone has the worst customer service ever!! My broadband bill this month is $20 higher than expected, so I replied to the bill email to ask why. They told me my $20 discount was expired. I wrote them the second email to show them the proof I have received an email from Vodafone told me my $20 discount will carry over in the next 12 months. With the proof email attached to them properly. Even with such detailed information, they don’t bother to check or do anything, they simply ask me to call sales team so they can apply my discount. I was furious, I believe the customer care team and the sales team both belong to Vodafone, why don’t they communicate with each other? Why should I spend at least half an hour waiting over the phone to talk to sales team? This is a mistake made my Vodafone, why should I be the one to waste time to fix this? So, I sent them third email to ask them to correct my bill before the payment due date, and I told them I won’t call sales team because it’s not my problem. It’s customer care team’s job to help me at least forward my email to sales team to fix the issue. At the end of today, I received email from customer care team again, simply told me to call sales team, they are not going to do anything about this! This is ridiculous!!!!!
