Awesome place! Also for cyclists. Amazing area for cycling and we love the peaceful campsite. The coffee is delicious too!

Cool familiar place, with clean bathroons and showers. Great views! Alex, the son of the owners was really nice to us. Awesome place to stay If You wanna hike on the vulcan.

Very friendly owners. Perfect place for camping. Really liked the pancakes from the restaurant. Giving 4star as they do have bathing restrictions(7am-10pm)

Owner questioned us for wearing masks then told us there’s campsites elsewhere. We planned this trip 3 months in advanced just to start from scratch again. Luckily found a nicer campground not too far

The campground ran out of water during our stay. Owners knew of the problem but took bookings anyway. We paid $70 a night for a family of 5 and they complained about having to give us a $1.50 bottle of water. Couldn't take a shower or flush the toilet. Owners never apologized for the inconvenience TO US but acted like it was all our fault. Worst camping experience ever.

Super friendly owners, very chatty and happy to have us there. Even gave us the cabin instead of our tent spot since no one else was staying at the time (middle of the week). Also was a super convenient location for us as base for Pouakai Circuit, super quick drive both to Inglewood supermarket and North Egmont Visitor Centre. Will definitely be coming back again

We stayed in a cabin between Christmas and New Year. We arrived in the worst of weather and the cabin was cozy and dry. perfect for a family of 4. The family who own and run Volcanoview are some of the nicest people you could wish to meet. The food is delicious (especially the vegetarian pancakes and the apple pie!) My girls (8 &10 years) felt completely at home there. Thank you! We will be back.
