★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I talked with instructor for a while about my daughter's test.
He explained me how my daughter got fail.
He bluntly gave a look of dislike during we were talking.
When I asked him something, if he can not answer, he just said same thing, "You can ask to VTNZ".
If he does not know or can not explain, he is not reliable for instructor I think.
Then he emailed to my daughter a report about it, but it is bit different from what we told by him when we talked.
Therefore, unfortunately I am feeling his words were untrustworthy.
Already reported to VTNZ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I passed my restricted licence test yesterday after failing a few times here at VTNZ Massey. I definitely felt very bad on failing my tests initially, but the feedback provided by driving instructors was very helpful in improving my driving skills. Thanks to whole VTNZ team.

Took my full license test with supervisor Nick. He was friendly and very gentlemen like, gave clear instructions during the test. I personally thought I was lucky to have Nick as my instructor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the WORST place to sit any practical driving tests. The inconsistency is astounding. All testers have different ideas of what is correct and what is not. Each tester I’ve had made me feel so uncomfortable. Saying that I’m getting distracted too much when they bring 500 mirrors, THEIR phone rings!!!, give really little notice and can’t confirm any questions I have.
So I would say if you’re thinking about booking here, save your money and look elsewhere :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome service today. The trailer failed due to the mudguard being detached from the body. After asking the inspector to recommend somewhere to take it to be fixed, he said he would see what he could do to help me out. He went out of his way to fix the problem, and also put the warrant on for me. Fantastic service. Saving me a lot of time and hassle. Thanks so much for caring!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my test scheduled for 1:15pm. Due to a system error, I had to wait an extra 30min for my rescheduled test. I had Anas as my testing officer. He was very courteous, professional and by far one of the best testing officers at VTNZ Westgate. If you get him as a testing officer, you’re lucky!! He is fair and gives clear instructions while doing your test. He’s able to put the driver at ease which makes for a better testing experience. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Anas for your professionalism and service. He’s great!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly I had a lovely experience, I say surprising because all the reviews on here aren't the best. I had Eleanor as an instructor and it was great!. She was very stern with her instructions, but made me feel at ease. I only give 4 starts because reception staff was abit slow, it wasn't busy so I'm not sure why. Either way, Eleanor for the win :)

She made me comfortable with her lovely communication and I never felt any pressure .I am so lucky to have Eleanor as my instructor.
