β β β β β Amazing and relaxing. A great couple (sweet, fun, smiling, warm, helpful) run this beautiful guesthouse with a sweet dog, chickens that provide eggs you can eat, 2 relaxed alpaca's and all of that surrounded by greenery wich house many beautiful birds to look at. For a fee I got picked up at the ferry (thanks Grant!). I got a very cozy bedroom with a reading/sleeping/relaxing nook next to a window with a view on the garden. Absolutely wonderful. The house is also very nice. Everywhere you look you find a new (small) detail. Their love for travelling is all around the house. Lovely and homely. And eco friendly green! I did the island tour with Nat, wich I really recommend. I'm not a wine drinker, but the vineyards are beautiful, the lunch at one amazing and I love it when people talk with passion about what they do. I still tasted though, just do it ? It's a beautiful and fun way to see the Island and meet some locals. Even though there was a lot of rain during my stay (very unusual) I really enjoyd it and had a chance to just sit back and relax. I stayed 5 nights and would recommend at least 3. It's amazing. Thanks for everything Nat and Grant, Shanti, Al & Chino! Words can not describe (although I tried), how much I enjoyed my stay. Lots of love, Leonie

β β β β β Hello Everyone.
I just wanted to write a review of the Waiheke Island Guest house cause i had such an amazing time there and i wanted everyone to know about it.
First of all Grant and Nat where great hosts. Friendly, knowligable and fun. They were able to answer my questions and tell me about some spots that i wouldn't have known about.
The Rooms were great, with a fair price. The house is in a good location. Just a short cab ride to town and most of the vineyards. And the Elpacas are awesome.
All in all I had a great weekend staying at the Guesthouse

β β β β β Quirky, quaint. Comfortable bed. Pleasant hostess. Suited us for our night on the island. There were plenty of Mosquitoes ?? so I would take bug bands or something like that next time. ?

β β β β β My wife and I stayed here for our first two nights of an extended NZ holiday, the hosts Grant and Nat were fantastic -- the place is the right balance between chilled out and comfortable. The provided free fresh eggs from their chickens, a wonderful muesli each morning with some fruit from the garden and they have two cute alpacas keeping the lawn trim! It's close to a bus stop, about 20 minutes walk from one of Waiheke's best beaches (palm beach) and Grant offers a nice tour of the island as well. Great vibe, comfortable place to stay and excellent hosts, it was the perfect transition into NZ

β β β β β A very interesting find! We were surprised by how well looked after this little place was! It doesn't look that spacious from the outside. It's bohemian decoration bring an uniqueness to it, which only made our trip more special. Everything works. We were also surprised by the availability of fruits (organic and grown by them) and even a spa pool. We stayed at the spa pool after sunset, watching the stars. It was pretty cool! I totally recommend it! βοΈ?οΈ

β β β β β We loved staying here! Grant and Natalie were wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make sure that we had an amazing stay. They were very gracious in giving us a lift to and from the ferry. Each morning we awoke to freshly made muesli that they left out for us. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was really artistic and interesting. The outdoor hot tub was amazing! Oh yea, and you get to feed the alpacas in the morning if you fancy! We give it our highest recommendation, especially if you want to try out something different from the usual cookie cutter hotel.
