★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish I could put 0 stars. Had such a terrible experience here with who I assume was the owner or manager. We pulled in around midday to use picnic bench for lunch on our way to Akaroa and the man accused us of using the bbq and not cleaning it, then accused us of staying the night and paying. And continued to retort our argument that we'd just pulled in, even lying saying he'd spoken to the people camping nearby who we had chatted with when they came over to use the tap. I've never been treated like this in my 4 years living and travelling aroud the north and south islands. We were explaining how we understood times were tough for businesses that depend on tourism and we wouldn't stay without paying, he responded saying 'he was doing pretty good' so not sure what the fuss about the $10 was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got in round 2-3pm,didn't know that there was no eftpos ? lucky we had one more person coming out,but was ok,he let us pay late just as long as we paid that night,top notch bloke I tell yah! Was awesome getaway with a few mates for couple nights for our gurls Birthday,no doubt I'll be coming back out with the whanau. Thanks for having us ??????
