★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to picnic /lunch over/parkup /rest for a time. Next to the boat ramp and trailer parking for boats.( A non freedom camp location ) but ok to rest a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular boat ramp giving quick and easy access to the mussel farms. Plenty of parking onsite and ramp can handle two boats at once. Toilet and showers available but no bins. Channel is well maintained and dredged with clear defined markers and beacons.
Choc a block on weekends and wait times can be in excess of 30+ mins. A little quieter during the week. $15/day to launch for non members or $100/annual fee for membership.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great fishing. Just be extra careful 2 hours either side or low tide in any boat. Did some major damage to my prop 90mins before low in my FC535. Admittedly there was some swell which made for less than prefect conditions that sometimes can be found here. Hopefully the money we all pay to keep the entrance in a safe condition is being used to do so. I take responsibility for my incident but I won’t be using the ramp within two hours of low in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. The people that volunteer there are really helpful and friendly. Lots of parking and the ramp is capable of holding 2 boats at once. Toilets are well cared for too. Great place to launch.
