★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little motel just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Nelson. Beautiful spot with all amenities close by. Wonderful helpful hosts. Certainly not an ultra modern establishment but was very comfortable and good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good kitchen and very quiet given its downtown location. There was a bit of a musty smell but the rooms and bathroom were all very clean. The shower was a bit difficult to adjust to a good temperature it wanted to be cold or too hot but there was plenty of hot water and water pressure at least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had much higher expectations for the place given the price. Although the beds were comfortable the motel is situated next to a rather busy intersection in central Nelson which made it difficult to have an undisturbed sleep. Best of luck to any light sleepers, or anyone expecting to sleep in later into the morning.
The rooms were nice and clean, and the bath/ shower with nice hot water pressure was quite a redeeming feature.
With a late booking we had the larger room number 4, which was made for more than just two people with two rooms a queen bed, and three singles. Off street parking was provided, however it was quite tight for a larger car.
It was a shame that the coffee provided was of the cheaper variety, and not much of it either.
TL;DR Comfortable beds, close to town, good for larger groups. Tad pricey, and noisy traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our host was full of advice and knowledge of the local area which was great for us booking up our trips. The location was excellent, great coffee shops within 300m, the river walkway behind the units and a very short stroll into town. The little courtyard outside the unit was awesome for the heat wave week that we visited. Great host, great location and was an excellent base for our daily adventures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and clean with comfortable bed. Walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Although the kitchen skylight provided light, we found the place quite dark inside. Good for a short stay.
