★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was told off by one of the golfers for parking my car on the road that crosses the golf course. He even threatened to damage it, saying it should not be parked there. Firstly, it is a public road. Secondly, my car was not causing anyone harm. Unlike the golf course, which deforested hectares of natural bush land and deprived hundreds of animals of their habitat, for no good reason.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local friendly course. Some variation with a few par 5's and some shorter par 3's. The greens have got better over the last few weeks which has made loads of difference. good friendly clubhouse with good cheap grub

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great course. Very quiet and well maintained. I would love to join but Redwood near by has a better flexi membership deal. If Waitakere changed that I would join for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful scenary. Longer than usual length compare to other courses and works great if you like a more challenging course. Lots of uphill and downhill walking. Generously wide fairways for those t-box where you can't see the fairway. If you aren't too fit, sharing a cart will make you enjoy the game a little more.
