★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet spot with a lot of walks closed at the moment, unfortunately. A lot of kauris around with cones and flowers coming rn, beautiful to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place for a nice walk. It is an easy walk down hill the whole way there however the hill back up is a bit of a killer if your not fit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did some of the Pinnacles track today however where ever it has access to Kauri trees the tracks are closed and fenced off due to Kauri Die Back disease. Dogs are permitted however on lease and all excrement removed due to possible water contamination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great walk. Very steep on the way back up. Large selections of other tracks to walk. Would reccomend tramline track for view of waterfall and train tunnel you can walk through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very simple and brief car parking place right on scene drive, if you're going to the Dam, this is the place you'll be parking.
Probably can contain 7~ 10 regular size cars, depending in how people's parking their cars.
Next to the parking space there is an iron gate, blocking cars from entering the private road, unless you're being authorized or construction cars.
Make sure you watch out for the incoming and outgoing traffic when exiting, as it is just a small road and cars are driving rather fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice walk with a beautiful lake. It's a shame that the main bush walk is closed due to kauri dieback at the moment.
