β β β β β The property is right on the beach. Being one of the only 2 houses on this beach with a private road access,you felt like you almost have the beach to yourself. Daniel is a super great host, he called us upon check in to make sure everything is alright (the only host out of 12 hosts who does this during our 1 month NZ travelling). The house itself is very cosy and the garden is magical. We enjoy strolling in the garden as much as at the beach. Will definetly go back.

β β β β β Daniel is awesome and responsible. Communications were clear and happening at all times. Amazing stars at night! Tried to catch paua but didnβt have any luck. I can see this house was built in early 90s and there is no mixer in bathroom vanity. Washing face in morning is a pain and uncomfortable. If you could replace it that would be perfect

β β β β β We had a fantastic time at Waituhi! The accommodation was perfectly appointed with everything one could ever need. The books and dvds are awesome and we watched a movie on Netflix as well. The sun came out for a beautiful sunset on our second night and we had a delightful walk around the property. The Bach kept us warm and dry. It was clean and comfortable and the owner called to make sure we were happy. Enjoy your stay. We certainly did!

β β β β β This is the most incredible Bach by the sea with jaw dropping views from the two main bedrooms and the lounge. The owner is so welcoming, although he lives away. It is warm, the beds and linen are really comfortable and it has everything you need for a great stay if it rains, as well as being in an ideal spot to base yourself for a week long Coast visit. The person who gave this a 2 star review must have been having a really bad day. This is our go to Bach for overseas guests and family.

β β β β β a very special & private place to unwind & enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The crashing and brutal ocean to the songs of the Tui who were flying all around in the flowering Kowhai trees. It was a pleasure to stay here, we enjoyed it very much and hope to return soon. Thank you Daniel for sharing your piece of paradise.
One thing to consider if you are not fully able is the very step stairs up to property. But if you have a 4wd you would be able to drive to the top of drive.

β β β β β Absolutely fantastic home away from home at the beach. My two teenage sons and I had everything we needed and more at Waituhi.
The house was clean and ready for us with fresh flowers on arrival too.
We cooked a cosy meal inside one cooler night and a bbq on the large deck the next night. So nice to watch the tide coming in and out. Best meal was the fresh muscles off the rocks.
Thank you for our comfortable stay, can't wait to go again.
