A small mission to get to but definitely worth it and I guess if you're lucky the resident Rooster will come and say Hi

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a short drive up off the highway, is a viewing platform. The view to the main mountains of Ruapehu, Ngaruahoe and Tongariro is wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Road very narrow especially if you are traveling in a campervan. From the outlook, the trees to the West need to be trimmed to see Mount Taranaki. Otherwise clean and a great view to the East.
