My Favorite place in all of Taranaki. Number 1 Top places to visit. Make sure you check out the caves at low tide. Raw natural beauty.

Beautiful view! Unfortunately freedom camping is only for self contained vehicles but there is a lovely and super affordable campsite just behind the freedom camping with hot showers and toilets. You need to pay for the camping in advance though between monday - Friday.

Nice spot cool beach. Very basic camp ground. Pay at the library in town. Don't drink out of the jug in the kitchen its rotting and you will be consuming micro plastics. I also noticed in the bathroom the down pipe are rotting too.

Powered & non-powered campsites. Pay at the library in town for your door code. An affordable, rustic, camping experience. Toilets, hot showers & kitchen facilities (toasters, kettles, ovens & retro microwave). Camp-style dining hall. All old, but with a certain charm, and perfectly functional. Awesome playground for the kids, gas bbq & two fantastic beaches.

Great spot to be. Power, toilets, showers, cooking facilities. Nice beaches, can here the brutal clash of the west coast shore when its night time and quiet. Facilities regularly cleaned. Get two bars of 4g, four bars of 3g. As of this review its 15 a night for a powered site, the local library is the place to pay, pick up some fish n chips from Rainbow Dairy at the same time!

Wild picturesque west coast beach, campground near beach, lots of powered sites sheltered by nearby trees, first in first served. $15 per night for a powered site and $10 for non powered sites, operates on honesty system via transfer to account number. Basic kitchen and ablution amenities, pin code needed by contacting Waverley Library, although was also able to do this by contacting the south taranaki district council. Nice quite spot, definitely worth a look. Unfortunately no dogs allowed.

Very restful stay at well maintained facilities. Lots of powered sites and a bookable cabin that sleeps 6 for $15 a night flat fee. This cabin is not powered. Beautiful, wild west coast with stunning views and excellent sunsets.
