Had dinner here three times and each has been great. Soups, sweet and sour, pork noodle soup won tons, it's all great and authentic too. If you haven't had a real orange beef it's a must.

I was very very impressed. The best fish and chips I have ever had in NZ. The fish was toothsome andbattered nicely. The chips were cooked perfectly. I don't live nearby but this is my new regular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous portion of food. Delicious food and good service. Definitely be back again. Owners were HK BBQ ex owners. They are famous for their crispy pork and roast duck. I've been eating their food for many years. I no longer need to go all the way to Cambridge Terrace to feast in their dishes. Thorndon is lucky to have them.
