★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s raw power. Fossil fuelled fury all the way. An assault on all the senses. Absolutely fantastic. Great opportunity to take the whole family out for a wholesome experience. That said my mate’s Prius did stand out in the parking lot. Fortunately there was no abuse from the more respectable cars in the lot. The track now has a terra cotta look. Very handsome. BYO health food. Fans of fried spuds can get a good fix at the vendor caravan. Hot chocolate can keep you warm. You won’t miss the action because you still see the track standing in the food queue. It’s 3 hours of action with brief pauses to remove debris and casualties from the track. Save up for the tickets and do it at least once. Bring a warm jacket and a cushion. And maybe a hat and safety glasses for the specs of mud and rubber kicked up into the air. Maybe ear protection for the young guns. But don’t worry, while stuff can happen, a safety first policy stands out here. Live a little.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really good track and very well run. Good seating plenty of food and drinks available. Lots of classes of racing which can be found on line so you know what to expect. Adults $20 and prices vary depending on age or family pass so its good value for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Choice as evening at the stock cars. Nice heady aroma of ethanol and Demon Energy drinks. Saloons, stock, mini stock and pro stock. Free entry at half time, food, drinks and bogans galore. Awesome meet, with super professional track staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the Speedway tonight. Perfect weather for the fireworks event they had. Spectacular show. 17 minutes of fantastic fireworks. Loved it. Well organised as always. plenty of security and eyes everywhere to feel like it was family friendly and safe. Loos were clean. 2 blocks of loos either side of the track. Great racing skills on display and just enough bumps and and such to keep it more exciting. Price of admission was well worth a full night of fun. They have food trucks and coffee. No alcohol, but that was fine. Totally recommend. Waiting for the demolition derby coming up.
