Awesome place to camp if you love being in nature. Nikki is a wonderful host and explains everything well. You can choose from numerous camp sites in beautiful settings.. go Bush walking from the camp, see a high waterfall, swim in the river or go check out the glow worms. Toilets are long drops but clean and the showers are basic and $2 if you want it hot. Overall a very relaxing peaceful place to stay and I'd certainly go back again!

Wentworth Valley is an amazing place to take family and friends. A laid-back environment in one of my favourite spots of New Zealand. What's great about Wentworth Valley is the fact you can take your dog. If you're not a dog lover, never fear as all dogs have to remain on a lead through the walks. The walks are amazing, and there is plenty to do, whether it be at the beach, shops, or swimming in the river. I love this place.

A great camp ground. The grounds was very tidy with beautiful bush all around. There are some great bush walks as well. I enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds singing plus there was a morepork calling most nights Very basic clean toilets and hot showers. Will be staying there again

Located just outside whangamata is this beautiful bush surrounded campsite. A department of conservation camping ground. We stayed at the overflow part which has portaloos and hot showers run by a $2 coin. There are bush walks that run beside the campsite and a glow worm walk. My favourite is the walk to the waterfall although it is hilly the waterfall is stunning. Located 10 minutes out of whangamata if you don't mind roughing it for a couple of days it's worth it for the peaceful surroundings and scenery. $18 pp per night

What a neat place to tent or rv. Wentworth waterfall hike is on the door step and a swimming hole. Nice to also sit by the river for breakfast. Niki was great!
