My name is Ashmina Kumar. I was born and raised in beautiful Fiji Islands.
My whakapapa extends to Fiji, India, and New Zealand.
I am married and have a eight-year-old boy. I also have two cats and a dog, who we love and are part of our family. I am a science graduate from AUT, but I ended up working for different IT companies for many years. I love to travel, and we have visited different countries over the years. I am passionate about learning and development, and I would like to make a difference for our young learners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for students and families. Staff are open and anyone can come in and have a chat. The school is very supportive of their students and the staff are well trained in behaviour management systems and restorative practice. This is a digital school with high level learning happening with teachers at the front line of modern technology and pedagogy. I would strongly suggest you come in and have a look at what they do, because you will be very much surprised by the high level of care that takes place here. If you are thinking of sending your child to Mt Roskill or other schools, I would say take a second look at WIS because they will provide more support and more opportunities than other schools.
