★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TERRIBLE PIES and SERVICE. First time visiting this bakery. Had a mince and cheese pie. Except the pie had no cheese! And the top pastry was absolutely hard! Went back to tell the owner, and was met with complete rudeness and denial. Apparently she has never had any complaints. Which is a lie if you read the reviews before mine! Another customer who over heard in store had just purchased a mince and cheese pie. He opened his up to show the owner that it clearly had no cheese. She insisted that the barely there next to nothing thin residue of what might have been cheese was there. I mean come on lady we are talking about a $4.50 pie trying to help you out with your business, and all you do is deny the evidence right in front of you! Such a shame to the kiwi classic! I’m sure if more people could actually be bothered complaining there would be more to say about this bakery. 0 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have tried their pies and sweet. The pie taste so yummy, especially mince and cheese, steak and cheese The flavour is well balanced, not too sweet and not too salty. Their steak meat is tender. The bottom pastry is soft while the top is flaky and crunchy. My favoutite slice is chocolate caramel even the caramel is a bit sweet. But if you like more sweet, you should have a try. Overall, this place is the good bakery in the area.
