I live in South Africa. Banked with Westpac Poirirua. Friday 17h33 Friday(after bank closed)just got emails telling me my passwords and all security details have been changed on line by unknown person. No enquiries, no warnings, no checks, just changed my security settings, seems obvious by Westpac insider. Bank closed over weekend so no enquiry or alert possible until Monday 09h00. Banking nightmare.

Today I came in to Westpac to pay my Nan’s bills via Smart ATM as she doesn’t have access to internet banking and can’t leave the house during this lockdown period. Prior to me there was an old man who was struggling with something and a lady from inside the bank came out and assisted him which was awesome to see. However, when it was my turn to pay the bill I was having an issue with the machine and I needed help. I went up to the door to try and get one of the employees inside to help me out with the machine, unfortunately they saw me and just signalled at me they were closed. Not a single person came out and even asked me what I needed help with. Absolutely disrespectful from you Westpac

Stood in teller queue watching unhappy and angry customers leaving after each teller interaction. By the time I got to the teller she was unhelpful and disinterested. This branches staff culture and customer service appears to be at an all time low.

Every time i come to get my change even though i email them 2 days beforehand and they never have it ready when i come in and the person whos responsible for doing the change is never there so i end up waiting at least 45 minutes and I don’t have the whole day to wait around and your bank closes at 3pm

We want to apply Home Loan last month, then we call online Service few times, but nobaby answer the phone after waiting half hour. Then we ask them to call back, Finally Adam call back, and check all details for apply Homeloan. But one week later, still didn't submit our application . And I sent three email to ask, but he only answer one email and said sorry he is busy. Then the interest rates go up two times in two weeks. Finally, I give up to apply loan though mobile online.
