Was charged $95 to look at one tooth I had a question mark about.
She didn’t look at any others. She said I needed a filling in that tooth so I booked. I rang and asked if the dentist would check my other teeth and was told that a check up costs $95. I replied that if I had known that I would have had a full check up (it didn’t include x-rays!).
When I arrived for my filling, the dentist apologized for the ‘misunderstanding’.... and told me I needed a filling in 2 wisdom teeth. She also said I had a cracked filling between 2 teeth.
Today I visited a dentist in the city Centre of Wellington. I was charged $70 - including X-rays. He was very thorough and said the wisdom teeth did NOT need fillings. He said one other tooth needed a small filling and he showed me on the x-Ray. Not impressed with Whangamata Dental clinic and Dr Natalia.
