★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take the children. Safe waters for the young ones to swim and a wharf to jump. Nearby toilet and shower for afterwards. A few shade trees and a nice place to kayak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you visit the Coromandel, you should visit the wharf. It's a fantastic place to dive, bomb and jump into the gorgeous clear, warm waters. The wharf is clearly marked, jump and swim to the right, or boats to the left. Incredibly fun place, one of my favourite places on earth and of course the beach is amazing too. A must visit for relaxing, swimming and surfing.

Boats coming and going make this place interesting. Keep clear of the fishermen! A walk along the estuary is worthwhile and the dog will enjoy off-leash time.
