Also stopped for shower from night of travelling very convenient and cheap $2 per 5minutes of hot water spacious and clean ? ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hubby used Toilets. Then we had an amazing Picnic ! Food from Braai hut. Clean park. Shady spot. Just the Council need to clean the Tables. Pity about the Vandalism! Destroyed the beautiful Art work! Rainbow ?. They need to install Cameras!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to stop in on way through. Nice amenities and you could grab food or coffee at the Cafe. Very hard to get out of as roads pretty busy and if going north visibility can be tricky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very informative lady, plenty of parking. Heaps of souvenirs for anything you may need. Talked to Saehee about all our needs and she drew up a full itinerary for us. Highly appreciated! Heaps of maps, brochures and just everything. Joint to a cafe as well so you can flick through all the maps you just got. Would recommend if coming through Whangarei

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a quick stop if you are traveling long distance. Small playground, big park to kick a ball and stretch your legs, clean bathrooms and a water fountain to refill your water bottle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A handy place to stop for a coffee or for using the toilet facilities but it all looks and feels tired.
Originally, the building (toilet block) was adorned with artistic features but neglect and a lack of appreciation has worn it down.
The same feeling of gloom hangs over the cafe and info center: "I do my job but don't ask me to get exited about it.'
Council: do your job and keep it pristine! Staff: pick up those trailing serviettes and refresh those wrinkled posters. Cleaning the tables (cafe) after visitors left should not be too daunting too. Or a smile when taking the orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great pit stop. Has a few picnic tables and public toilets, accessible without having to go inside the building. A nice little bridge and playground for those with kids who may need to stretch there legs. Stop there every time we travel that way.
