★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First a disclosure. I am a friend of the current owner of this property. But I need to add that my family came on holiday to this house a long time before she purchased the property. I loved it then and I love it now. It is right on the lake front, at Acacia Bay. There are very few houses in Taupo with this kind of access to the lake. There is nothing in front of you except the lake, and the most gorgeous panoramic views across to Taupo township, on the other side of the main bay. The house is clean and spacious, with two large bedrooms facing the lake, and a third double bedroom on the street side. There is also a large garage if you want off street parking, and a second garage where all of the boating equipment is stored. The house is clean, cosy and very comfortable, with large lounge and dining areas that face onto the lake, through floor to ceiling windows. And there are lovely outdoor spaces, in addition to the lake itself, of course. There is an outside dining space for the bbq, and a large lawn and garden between the house and lake. This house is perfect for 2 or 3 couples or for a family. There is a small sandy beach just metres from the house, and a larger beach a few minutes walk. The house is at the end of a no exit road, next to a reserve, so it is quiet, with only the occasional car turning at the end of the street. And if you want something extra, Taupo is only 7 minutes away. This is a lovely place for a holiday.
