This store will not accept your face mask exemption.
The young Manager boy when I questioned him also didn't believe it was a form of discrimination not letting me into the store because I didn't have a facemask. Even though I showed that I am exempt.
I really think they need to educate themself on the definition of discrimination... not to mention the Humans Rights Act of 1993 Prohibited grounds of discrimination.
Also under NZ legislation it is prohibited from preventing someone from goods and services under the Humans Rights act 1993.
This is how you treat your locals in the area after all the lockdowns & non stop support from all of us all to keep your business running?
Disgusting really.

Thankyou for your reply, but you should read your reply to yourself, the 2 Owners and especially the Manager boy.
It's about ALL customers, ALL of them each and every person. Your shop clearly does not support ALL people.
There are plenty of other businessess that WILL PROPERLY support ALL people.
So to anyone reading this, take your money & your time to that business NOT this one.

If you want good quality fruit and veg then this is def the place to go. Friendly service too. Def 5 stars

The staff at The White Cross are always friendly and pleasant and their coffee order service certainly helps my colleagues and I with our 8am wake up call. Thanks for helping our local community with your awesome shop and all the produce made available at our backdoor. Looking forward to a great 2022!
