Kia ora,

In 2001, feeling my life was out of balance I went on some deep soul searching and met a Tohunga the late Patrick Ruka who guided me in a ‘Pure’ ceremony on the shores of Lake Rotoiti, Rotorua. This opened up a spiritual door leading me to the traditional Māori healing clinic in Auckland run by Papa Joe. After my first Romiromi I knew this was my path and had the opportunity to train with Ruatau Perez with Papa as mentor. In 2010 I opened Wikitoria Māori Healing in Rotorua offering healing bodywork and later teaching .

'Papa' Hohepa De La Mere

Papa Hohepa De La Mere from the Whānau a Apanui tribe was a world renown Tohunga and teacher. He shared with us the centuries old ‘Waananga lore’ of traditional Māori healing based on universal principles dating back 4000 years. It is a taonga (treasure) passed down from our tupuna (ancestors).

This transformative journey has allowed me to help people from all walks of life heal naturally and holistically utilising the gifts from my ancestors and the ancient whare wānanga . Specialising in Romiromi has given me the opportunity to facilitate Māori healing workshops in Aotearoa, Australia, Hawaii, Germany and Scotland.  I am very grateful and passionate to be doing this work.

A special thank you to my dear cousin Timoti Huia Bramley (Tainui, Ngati Whakaue, Tuwharetoa) who has worked alongside me for the past eight years assisting with workshops in Europe, Aotearoa and here in Rotorua with his profound and intuitive counselling and Romiromi treatments. A big mihi also to Cran Gage (Whanau a Apanui) who has been a great support assisting me also with the Romiromi workshops for the past six years . He is ACC accredited and offers Romiromi in Gisborne.

Cran Gage and Wikitoria

My biggest acknowledgement and aroha is to my ancestors, my aunties and uncles who were healers, and Papa Joe for the Whare Waananga, the body of traditional Māori healing wisdom and knowledge… a gift from the Ancient Ones, he taonga tuku iho.

I specialise in Romiromi supported by Mirimiri; a combination of deep bodywork, body alignment, release of blocked energy through pressure on the haemata (key body points), kaupare (ancient prayer) and counselling.

Our traditional bodywork impacts the central nervous system at a cellular level. All the body systems are invigorated to help shift the body back into balance closer to its natural state of being. …A grounding experience. A Māori healing Romiromi can benefit people of all cultures and all ages whether you are fit and healthy or have a challenging illness.

Kia Ora I visited Wikitoria December 2013, all be it with some apprehension. The combination of Romi Romi and Mirimiri was a very powerful, relieving sensation worthy treatment. I felt the moment my treatment was completed and in the following days a great relief of release of all the raruraru I had been carrying for many years. To this day 6 months on and in future I am so light - very confident - happy and at peace with myself. Thanks so Wikitoria forever greatful to you. Arohanui Rose Ormsby Taupo xxxxx

Wiki's Massage in Rotorua was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Professional and courteous, Wiki's unique massage retreat is worth the short drive out of town to experience the stunning views over the lake nestled away with the trees. It's the perfect setting for the ancient Maori "Romiromi" massage, that puts the 'therapy' in therapeutic massage! We were recommended to visit Wiki from a friend all the way on other side of the world in Ireland, and it certainly was worth it. It's so much more than just a massage, it's healing, alignment - actually, all the things she lists on her website! If you do 1 thing in Rotorua, do this!

I attended all 3 workshops in April/May 2019 with the Lovely Wikitoria Oman, it was the most amazing spiritual experience of my life, not only to learn ancient gifts passed down, but also to have breakthrough releases of trauma/kehua/and makutu during my own healing session. Wikitoria is so humble in her mahi, and very masterful and intuitive in her skills. She was able to release blockages for me that no other healers have been able to and found things others were not aware of. I found her loving caring wairua spirit made it easier to trust not only in her but in myself to release a lot of blockages and trust in my own capabilities as a light worker. I feel like a completely different person, and have even noticed physical changes in myself and thought patterns. It is an cultural/spiritual experience I think all who try can only benefit from. Nga mihi.

A wonderful and healing experience. Very professional and with so much years of experience. I highly recommend this Maori healing work to everyone and I will definitely seek her services again. Wikitoria also offers workshops throughout the year to learn this ancient form of healing.
