I chose to practice Bowen Therapy because the moves are gentle. Bodywork doesn't have to hurt to help!
The moves affect your connective tissue (fascia), stimulating the release of your fascia allows the underlying structures to release and realign. The moves also open the flow of energy through your body. Bowen Therapy works at a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

β β β β β Iβve been seeing Lynne for only a short while for chronic hip pain but the difference is amazing. I move better, sleep better and use way less pain killers. β β β β β Gentle but effective treatment in beautiful surroundings. Lynne is amazing and I always come away feeling lighter and calmer and ready to tackle whatever life throws my way. Have definitely felt generally more energised and emotionally/mentally stronger since starting Bowen Therapy as well as noticing the physical benefits, including less headaches and migraines. Would highly recommend, especially if you are not a fan of painful remedies!

β β β β β Even the drive out to Cherrybarn is theraputic. As you take yourself out of the city and put on your favourite tunes, it sets you up for what is to come. Cherrybarn is just as you imagine it to be. A beautiful red barn like dwelling with gorgeous trees lining the drive. Lynne greets you so warmly and it is her wairua that draws you in. I have seen amazing changes in only the 3 sessions that I have had with Lynne and I know that I will be coming to her for a long time just to maintain this sense of well being. She weaves not only the physical, but the spiritual, and emotional aspects into her practice and helps you to consider all of these aspects with whatever ails you. Her non-judgemental and embracing nature puts you at ease instantly The Bowen she delivers is magical and the environment she provides is a treat for the senses. As you leave with a sense of peace and wellbeing the journey back to the city is just as embracing. I cannot recommend Lynne of Cherrybarn highly enough. I'm sold.
