★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took our toddlers (20 months) for a little pony ride and had such a great time, we went back a few days later. The kids also loved feeding and patting the rabbits, guinea pigs, goat, donkeys, alpacas. My little man was especially mesmerized with the peacock! They also have a little kids play area with swings and a slide etc. We spent the whole morning there and never felt rushed to leave. What a great way to spend morning, thank you Kirsty. Well worth the half hour drive from Richmond. We'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kirsty and her team at Wild Oats Farm has an incredible array of Horses and Pony's plus many other lovely animals and the care she has for them all is incredible. We went there today and my three children and I enjoyed a breathtaking experience trekking through the country side around the Wild Oats Farm. Even my son (4) and daughter (6) managed to cope with crossing rivers and steep slopes! And Bailey my oldest child managed to ride the horse independently. Definitely looking forward to taking the kids again sometime really soon. Wow!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a pony picnic party for my daughter's 5th birthday party at Wild Oats Farm. Kirsty was easy to communicate with and we were so impressed with the set up of the party room when we arrived - complete with bbq, mini oven, water station and even a cake stand. The staff had a fun and friendly demeanour with the children and there was so much for the children to play with and explore that we didn't need to worry about organising any party games. All we had to do was turn up with food and the rest was taken care of. Highly recommend for children's parties!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! I had never ridden a horse before but the owner Kirsty was fantastic and had a great attitude. The horses were ready before they we got there. My horse 'Magic' was pleasant and calm although he did have a tendency to get a bit too close to the fence if I let him ? We took a nicely paced trek around the farm, and the scenery was amazing. The weather was perfect.
If you've never ridden before, prepare for sore body parts. Be careful dismounting as well.
There is a petting zoo with animals as well as a children's playground and toilet facilities. There is no cellphone coverage and thus no Internet. Google maps took us down the right road to the farm. The last portion of the road is unsealed. There is parking available on site.
Nearest food is probably the nearby Wakefield bakery, and you should plan to bring a picnic with the kids to the farm, as there are picnic tables here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing place for kids birthday parties, treks and horse riding lessons. Kirsty, Mike and team are all very welcoming and all the animals are well cared for and loved! My mum and I had a great trek today with gorgeous weather and scenery. Recommend doing one even if you’ve never ridden before. 10/10
