About Wildflower
I've always worked in hospo but out the front making coffee, serving and chatting as I do.
After working at a cafe with a passionate owner who wanted us to love it like our own I realised I couldn’t. I needed to start a business that was my own and so Wildflower was born.
We bought an old caravan and Simon did her up, she was perfect! We had a permanent spot and did events but the demand for doughnuts kept going up and we just didn’t have the space to keep up. We needed a base to create all of our yummy treats so now we have the cutest little shop!
Family is everything to me (and food) Wildflower is definitely a family affair. I'm so grateful that I have such a loving and supportive family. They've enabled me to have my dream and what’s even better as they have joined me for the ride.
Simon my partner is the one who builds and creates to bring my visions to life. Have you seen how cute and quirky our shop and caravan are? Simon runs the markets, you will find him in Feilding and Paraparaumu weekly.
My mum is in the shop with me baking away, laughing, loving and keeping me sane as well as helping with the kids, we would be lost without her.
The little ones Piper and Archie are chief bag stampers and love taking money at the markets lol
The older girls - the 2 Belles, random huh Simon and I both have daughters same age same name they help in the cafe with dishes, getting trained up on the coffee machine and help serving in the shop around school hours.
Why I chose the name...

β β β β β Told it made the best donuts in NZ. Sorry not the case. OK but at $6 each, Sponge Kitchen or New World are better donuts and a lit cheaper. Wildflowers are more breadie, smaller. 3 out of 5 for nice lady serving or would have given 2
