★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to give this a try based on the good reviews seen online and was largely disappointed. The menu on offer was already a reduced menu so the options were limited. Yet there is still a few items of the menu that was slashed off making it even less options.
Ordered the grilled pork ceviche toast and the scrambled eggs on toast, a bowl of chips and a garlic pita bread.
The scrambled eggs arrived looking really nice but were overcooked. The grilled pork ceviche toast had hardly any pork with some overpowering preserved persimmons that was way too salty and sour. The pita bread was bland and overly proof so has a very strong yeast taste. My daughter had 1 bite and spit it out immediately.
The menu also offered almost nothing for kids. The cabinet was also very empty with only a couple of cinnamon buns and chocolate cookies left there.
Service was also very slow although staff was very polite.
Only thing good is the coffee which was pretty good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love a place where every single staff member is warm and friendly and does their job well regardless of whether they’re looking after you or not. There was great communication from the get go about meals taking a little longer than usual (30 mins) which I always appreciate. We sat outside and enjoyed a couple of mimosas and a yum vegan toast option. Surprisingly filling! The outdoor seating is lovely and spacious, it feels peaceful out there, unlike some other cafes outdoor areas. Definitely returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Williams eatery never fails to impress, great seasonal menu with perfect contemporary flavour combinations each and every time. Their coffees are also fantastic. The best spot in all of Wynyard quarter, a place to keep your eyes on and visit if you haven’t had a chance yet.
