★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place with live Jazz music but the food was just okay. It took a while to get our orders and the both dishes that we had were very average nothing special. But the fish was very fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As with many of the restaurants around Auckland, the fish n chips place at AFM seemed to have gone for cheaper ingredients. Their fish burger buns are no longer brioche buns but just bog standard white hamburger buns and the chips aren’t as good either.

Crunchy on outside & steaming white fish inside. Batter is tasteless & goes well with tar tar sauce. Squeeze lemon on batter for a zingy taste. Reasonable portion of fried fries. Eat with local small birds seeking your crumbs sharing. Nice atmosphere due to overhead panel heating. Free 1 hour car park

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They're such thieves! $38 for three cones of (supposed to be full ) different sea food items plus fries on the tray but, surprise surprise! The cones had also fries at the bottom! So, you end having just 3 pieces of fish or prawn or wharever you order but it looked like there were at least 6 or 7 per cone. Very misleading! Shame on you!!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the seafood platter from uber eats. the baytered seafood showed up soggy as and un eatable, and they said it comes with oysters and mussels in shells ,that is not even here. big bloody ripoff for $120
