β β β β β Most disorganized service I have ever experienced. Upon arrival 3 separate people came to ask if we wanted drinks. Then when our food order was finally taken, it was never put into the system!! We sat there for 40 minutes with no one coming to see if we were alright. It took me calling someone over to ask where our food was for them to realize they forgot to put it through the system. At this point we where so fed up, we just walked out.

β β β β β Went to a wedding yesterday which was wonderful lovely grounds. I thought the food was disappointing as it was cold and the plates were cold as well. This is their source of business I thought they could serve hot food. The coffee was terrible now I think it is pretty easy to upgrade to a Nespresso at least and let the customers make a nice fresh coffee when they want it not in a flask.

β β β β β Hidden gem, great place for lunch, like you've been invited to a country house of royalty, but they've just stepped out. Huge cricket ground, with supplies for a sunny afternoon.

β β β β β We had our wedding reception here on 21/04/2018. The gardens are amazing and the function room looked magical. Weβve visited Woodlands throughout the year and the place looks great across all seasons.

β β β β β I attended for the antique show so I didn't go into the main attraction. Everyone was friendly and it was good value. Concerning the main attraction, I have been before and it's definitely worth a trip. It's peaceful with the ambience of a summer Saturday in an English village. There used to be over sized games and go-carts to play with. The food was excellent, if slightly pricey.

β β β β β I feel this Woodlands old Homestead needs someone taking you around to talk about the history of the house. The young lady was welcoming and said help yourself to looking through the albums and looking in all the rooms about the Homestead but I feel it needs a guide to create enthusiasm and to draw you back in time to 1872 when this was established. It was still a beautiful old house to look around. Interesting family photos. And bits of furniture around. More explanation in a plaque would of helped above the pieces or maybe a dining room table set up how it would of been back then.I am not saying this is not worth visiting, I'm just saying it needs a guide. Visit "The Elms" tauranga and you will feel the passion and the history through the lovely elderly ladies telling you the history and you will be transported back in time.

β β β β β Stunning gardens, a lot of history and βnotable treesβ here. Well maintained. Great function space too. Cafe onsite is good food but very busy so recommend booking in advance especially for 4 or more people.
