The Work Brokers are just terrible. Your lucky to find one who is a Pakeha or New Zealander. Perhaps that explains the pathetic pay and working conditions of the jobs advertised. Texted by them continually for jobs that do not match my skills or experience. No respect for the Privacy Act. Information given out willy nilly. Second rate but funded by th NZ tax payer. And the reviewer that said "life can be more than food and shelter". Your lucky you have the shelter mate, quite a few New Zelanders cannot get on their emergency housing wait list.

Wow! I try to make a complaint against a useless Case Manager - Rose Tusialofa, not able to do it. No one gets back to me. She does not answer her phone ever and is always "out of the office" when emailed . What a cowardly bunch, ignorant and unable to front up. This might be OK for Samoa - but NZ is not Samoa. A joke!

Unbelievably bad client service here but the Manager could not care less. He has a sort of "it is - what it is" attitude. Staff are just downright rude and incompetent. I suggest if you get bad service from them to email the minister Carmel Sepuloni and ask why these people are funded by the NZ tax payer. Ms Sepuloni may take some notice as it is an election year. If not - vote for a different party.

About as helpful as a brick in the head. Though, granted, that brick does come with a small pocketful of cash. Entered vulnerable, desperate, and less than a skerrick of pride left. Boy did I get a wake up call, because I left all those things and more. I imagine working for the Ministry of Social Development means that most of them will have some kind of Social Worker Qualification - too bad it's in name only. CONSISTENTLY the most unfriendly, agonizing staff to deal with. True, they deal with your average despot on a day to day, but that's their job. I've paid literally tens of thousands of dollars in taxes. I already feel like I'm in the gutter. A smile wouldn't kill anyone here.

Please pass this on to your manager/ management team, I've had the best experience with the lovely Sudheer Nangia at this Queen street branch, so helpful and went above and beyond to assist me and not only that, customer service was a 100% and deserves a pay rise for this! Thank you so much Sudheer for your service. It''s people like you we need more out here, so kind and very patient! All the very best, God bless!

I am not from Auckland originally, and i have been on maternity leave for 6 months now, my paid parental leave has finished and i have been into the Auckland Queen street Branch to apply for some financial assistance. My concern and complaint comes from great distress, i walked into book an appointment with my client number and ask question at the reception. This was the most uninviting experience i have had in a government office, i am really taken back at the way they looked at me and treated me, i left in tears. I never raised my voice or showed how annoyed i was with the unprofessionalism that the counter lady used, she treated me and if i was a low class citizen for seeking help. I have had 6 months with my new baby and really want to finish my remaining 6months,I really hope you investigate these offices more often. Not everyone wants to stay unemployed, i have been working for 13 years and i pay taxes on everything and to get nothing in return and to be treated like this is unspeakable. Very upset and disappointed in the work and income office.

I went here today to speak with a work broker. the front desk staff were so nice, polite and funny. it was a nice change to what im used to when dealing with work and income. As for the reason i was there, the work broker was awesome, very informative and helpful.

Nice and easy. Scan QR code, vaccine pass not needed and get processed one at a time. For me just 2 minute wait then got my query resolved in a few minutes. Nice
