About X-Ray Laboratories
X-Ray Laboratories was established in 1968, since then it has provided a professional, comprehensive, and cost-effective testing and inspection service to the engineering industry in the greater Auckland area.
The company was the first and possibly the only NDT company outside Australia to get a NATA registration, which it held until the advent of Telarc and then IANZ. The company’s personnel held signatory status with the organisation until the company was Telarac registered (Registration number 6). Our services are available nationwide although we tend to specialise in the northern North Island of New Zealand from Whangarei to Taupo.
Laboratory testing is carried out in most of the techniques required for a complete service to the engineering industry regarding welding procedures, welder qualification and material approvals.
On-site testing is carried out in the common techniques of non-destructive inspection used by the heavy engineering industry for the approval or certification of production welds.
Today we still pride ourselves on providing a professional, comprehensive, and cost-effective testing and inspection service for our customers and clients alike.
