★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hamilton Riverside walk cuts through this park. Walking the Western, city side of the river is not as tranquil as the eastern side of the river. The path skirts the edge of Cobham drive on which trucks rumble in both directions.. The path also takes you through Yendell park. It does give good views of the river through the bush . At the end of the park you join onto Hillsborough terrace . This is a less used road and much quieter. It takes you to the Victoria Street bridge. From there you can carry on along the river towards the claudelands bridge.
