β β β β β Top quality staff, very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Luckily restaurant is big enough to not worry too much about being close to others in level 2 alert level dining. Menu has flavours which pack a punch, favourites of ours being the soft shell crab so nicely lightly fried, and salmon fireball nigiri (a must have). Didnβt get the chance to try the big dishes, but will have to return to try them next time if the small isakaya dishes are anything to go by.

β β β β β Excellent experience from booking to exit. Call dropped while trying to book a table at short notice and they called back immediately. Staff were very polite and attentive, food arrived quickly and was top notch. Decor and ambiance was very good too. I'll certainly make a point of going back!

β β β β β I was actually disappointed with the sashimi. If they only make sashimi platters during level 3 then they better be good!! I had super thick cuts, especially the king fish was so unevenly cut. The tuna was wayyy to thin and the salmon was just an orange flesh with very minimal fatty streaksβ¦ it just seems like they hired a back up chef with zero knife skills :/ looked super great at first glance, but fish didnβt melt in my mouth. Honestly disappointed and maybe just got an off platter? Will give them another chance though

β β β β β Delicious quick snack of oysters and sashimi for two and the karaage chicken. The sashimi was well prepared and fresh. Our waiter was lovely and friendly when we had questions about the menu. The vine here is very nice abd laid back. Good place for a nice japanese fonner

β β β β β Really amazing restaurant! Have ordered their takeaway large sashimi platter twice - IMO the best sashimi platter in Auckland both for value and quality
Have also dined in once with a big group and the service and food were really attentive and great!
Definitely a solid choice and the place we return to very often!
