★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On arrival the host said "I don't have to sell these units" and "I get paid the same regardless". I am not sure what the reason behind this was. We are a group of motorcycles but always have a smile to greet any one and are not the imposing bikey gang type.
There was a question regarding EFTPOS not being available and only being able to pay by credit card, I said I understood the need for a credit card for security. I made a joke about my friend from overseas only making transactions in Swiss Francs or pies... as a joke. The host asked me if I wanted to stay there, the others said yes he's with us... the host said..." I don't like him and I don't like his sarcasm". I stepped outside so as to not compromise my friends stay.
I know it's not my fault but it leaves you feeling bad regardless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for the Omaka Airshow. Location is about 15 minutes to the town center. Rooms are a tad dated but they were clean had all the appropriate amenities. Well priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great motel, a little dated but very large rooms, disappointing that not all rooms had air conditioning given it was a 30 degree day and that the pool was out of action for the summer, this was the actual reason I booked this particular motel (a pool). Otherwise friendly staff easy check in and parking right outside the room.
