★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The advertisement says cooking facilities, however there is not. I only had a plug in pan which when cooking in sets the firealarm off, there is not proper cooking facilities. I was then after the firealarm went off told that it is only for light meals which they should then state on their advertisement, however it is being advertised as having cooking facilities. I do not think a plug in pan should be advertised as proper cooking facilities. I bought food for my entire stay, which I now cannot make and doubt whether the motel is going to refund me. The staff lied about me leaving items on in the room, when I specifically switched it off and unplugged it. When confronted about this, i tried to explain this to the staff member, who did not even listen and told me it is dangerous. It bothers me that the dishonest staff is cleaning my room during the day when I am not there as my personal belongings are in the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely big bed. Excellent air conditioning. On first appearance looks lovely and new. On closer inspection cleaning not really up to standard. During day when room services - new towels just put on bed in pile. Room not cleaned/serviced like you would normally expect. Very little milk supplied and terrible coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely rude staff that have a couldn’t care less attitude . I contacted the owner in regards to the neglected and overgrown property to be met with “you can come and mow it” . I certainly hope the rooms are cleaner than outside but highly doubt it given the attitude of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bed and shower. Most comfortable bed iv had for years. Ans shower really hot and powerful. Really tidy and clean place and rooms. Only $120 a night for twin room. I thought would be about $160. Sky tv with all channels. Yea this is a 5 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad really but being honest I can't pick any holes at all. We asked for a room upstairs and it while it was small it was perfect! The bathroom was excellent and powerful pressure with great heat as well. The bed was absolutely massive and comfy.
Nice and close to restaurants and shopping and you are comfortably close to the city.
Excellent all round.

Ready booking, smiley helpful staff who even helped bring my bags to my room as I was a little injured. Room was lovely (free upgrade as my original booking was not ready), nice sheets, pillows a little flat for me, enjoyed my stay.

The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the beds are comfortable, the shower is amazing, the parking is easy, and there are many eating and shopping options nearby. This is the best motel I have ever stayed at in Christchurch!
