★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to thank Rafiq and his family for our wonderful stay and making us feel welcome. Our motel unit was very clean and the beds very comfortable. As we were taking a train trip, the motel offer a shuttle service to and from the motel. The Arena motel is also in walking distance to plenty of shops. I highly recommend staying at the Arena, and would stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay. We did the Trans alpine and stayed here the night before and the night we returned. The room was clean and warm. Free shuttle provided be manager to and back from station. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Great service. Will stay again.thankyou.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked before leaving from the west coast must have put 2 people instead of 3 when filling in online (accidents happen) was happy to fix that up when got there but that was not an option after they seen my 11 year old dog was a staffy x breed we were not welcome there didn't get a refund for 4 days until it showed up in the bank very rude wouldn't recommend for anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located close to the stadium and Christchurch railway station, this was the perfect location for an overnight stay. While it's a relatively basic motel and a little dated, it was comfortable and clean. A real bonus is that they offer a shuttle service to the railway station if catching an early morning train. Thus I would consider this perfect for anyone embarking on the Coastal Pacific or TranzAlpine journeys. There are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance at Addington. The only minor complaint is that it was difficult to get decent hot water in the shower. This could be because we stayed in the accessible room and other rooms may not have the same issue. Overall I would happily stay here again. Good price. Good service. Comfortable. Well located to town, Addington shops, stadium and Christchurch stadium.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, helpful hosts. Well-appointed and well equipped unit. Very informative Information Booklet with much needed food delivery details, after a long day travelling, on arrival. Handy location to good shopping in three directions and Horncastle Arena stadium. Great location especially if approaching from Leeston/Lincoln area as we did.
