β β β β β Colin really did make our trip the best it could possibly have been. Right from the start with quick email replies and information about where to stay and maps. His e bikes are awesome, with big tyres to ease the bumps and very very comfortable seats. Never once over the 4 days did we feel like we had spent 4-5 hours on a bike. Once we had our bikes sorted Colin drove us over to Clyde to start the rail trail at the beginning, and 4 days later he was there waiting for us in Middlemarch. On the drive back to Clyde, Colin offered to stop at places so I could get a few extra photos, which I so appreciated. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a better service than what Colin offers for the rail trail. Thank you Colin, we are planning on coming back next year for another trail.

β β β β β Colin was fantastic. Knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Bikes were a great price and rode really well. Most comfortable seat I have ever had! Bike came with panniers at no extra cost and Colin shuttles in the immediate area for free. Colin even threw in water bottles and loo paper too. Highly recommend hiring from Colin he goes the extra mile. A top guy! Thanks Colin

β β β β β We have just completed a trip on the Otago Central Rail Trail with e-bikes from Colin at 219 E-Bikes and had a fabulous time. Colin's service is top notch and his bikes are fantastic value compared to others. I thoroughly recommend him.

β β β β β If you are renting e-bikes while in Alexandra/Clyde, it MUST be with 219 e-bikes and Colin! His rates are fantastic, you won't find better in Otago and his service is above and beyond.
He drove the bikes behind us back to our accommodation so we could leave our car there, picked us up from the last spot on our journey - all at his own offer and without us asking! The bikes are fantastic, he has a great range of options. They certainly made our day quicker with good speed settings and carrier bags on the back to hold the wine we picked up. He also ensures you're comfortable on them and understand how they work before you leave as well.
10/10 you MUST use 219 e-bikes.

β β β β β The service from this company was unbelievable. Firstly his e-bikes are significantly cheaper that other companies. Secondly he is totally reliable and will sort out any issues - we hired 6 bike over 11 days and he had to make a few trips for a variety of reasons but Colin always sorted it. His patience was unbelievable. We had a wonderful cycle on both the Dunstan trail and the Otago Rail Trail.
