★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ride on great bikes! We were advised to go for “Roxbourgh Gorge – Clutha Trail” from Phil from Altitude Bikes. And it was a marvelous track on great bikes in wonderful nature with a jetboat ride in the middle, where we were told a lot about the gold rush at the banks of Clutha River. And on the shuttle back to Alexandra we learned even more about the area and New Zealand Phil. All in all one of our highlights on our holiday in New Zealand. Will with great joy recommend the trail and Altitude Bikes. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ helped out with some local knowledge about the tracks. Very friendly. Great range of small tools in the case you forget your own (like i did!). If I were to be based in Alex I would likely be using these guys as my local shop. A good range of bikes on offer from reputable brands. Good to see an established shop in some of the best riding country in New Zealand. Keep it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dave and the team provided a great personalised service with suggestions whilst we were planning our trip. They organised our Otago Rail Trail accommodation and even ensured that we had reservations for evening meals. Once we got going everything went without a hitch from the airport pick up to the transfer of luggage every day and swapping bikes for the Dunstan track. A truly efficient and personalised service that made our holiday exceptional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hired 2 e-bikes for a first time go. Dave was a nice guy and very helpful in selecting the right bikes for our abilities and suggesting some suitable tracks. Would definitely like to return one day when we're a bit fitter and do the Lake Dunstan track.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dave and Sue picked us up in Clyde after we finished the Dunstan Cycle Trail on New Years Day. They were on time, and super friendly. We were very lucky to find Altitude Bikes as everyone else was either booked out or closed over the NY period! Dave worked around a time that suited us, and they were even able to drop us off directly to our hotel in the Pisa Moorings. Couldn't recommend any more highly. Thank you Dave and Sue for making our ride that much easier!
