Worst service. Nurses and doctors complain about abuse from patients, it's not okay. Maybe if some of their Frontline staff were more empathetic to patients. My daughter was in excruciating pain, we were told to sit in the car with a 2 hour wait time. It's been 6 hours, I've been to the reception and was told I can leave and it was upto me. Not a care in the world given my daughter had back pain, sitting in the car which was uncomfortable. At least we got a panadol! 24 hrs surgery shame on you I saw a lady leave at the sane time with a swollen ankle almost blue, had veen waiting for as long as us.

Due to high demand created by the Christmas/NewYear shutdown by many General Practitioners wait times were long, however reception staff, triage staff were cheerful & professional. I dealt with Dr Christopher Todd who was reassuring in regard to my health issue, professional with a pleasant manner.

Came in with severe period pain and the amount of empathy and understanding the staff have had for me has been truly incredible struggled to find someone that has really taken the level of period pain I have seriously and everyone who has helped me tonight has been incredible. They're so short staffed but have continued to give me amazing care. Thank you to the nurses who have looked after me

I had to say despite to the long hours of waiting, the nurses were doing an amazing job, I could see that they were trying their best to triage all the patients. The ones needed urgent attenion were seen right away. The nurses at the reception were good at explaining to other pts. The security guard saw me hopping out of the car, unable to weight bear on my injured foot. He immediately asked me to wait and went got me a wheelchair. The nurse first assessed my injury once I entered to the hospital main waiting area was really gentle, and after discussed with me regarding to my circumstances. We decided to take the x ray first and see what we are dealing with. The nurse and the radiographer were excellent at explaining to me, especially after saw a small fracture on the x ray. The morning nurse came to gave me my radiology report just before her home time, and offered if I needed analgesic. Although it was a long wait for me, but I felt they were doing the best as they can. Thank you for the care and attentions. Especially in the mid of the pandemic.

I often visit being an unwell lady and I have found the staff and GPS over the years to be very professional and kind in their mannerisms. There is a wait depending, but when we have been in a more serious state they have seen me & my family strait away. There is a tv to watch and a food & drink machine, and at times a hot drink passed around. I am always assured that I can visit the Clinic at any time of the day when I can’t get in to see my GP. The accountant lady is wonderful as well, she gets a 5 ? Overall we are very happy to visit the 24 Hour Surgery, and for the last doctor we saw there recently, a big thanks to him for detecting a mole on my sons leg that was removed ASAP from our own GP the following week.

This is ridiculous! Look at the waiting time! If there’s an emergency people shouldnt come here (if there’s a choice but Christchurch has none). Triage staff are rude and uncaring. Do they realise that people won’t be there if they weren’t sick or in pain and they need to be seen by someone immediately? Dont expect patients to be smiling after waiting for 5 hours and hungry. Developing countries have better facilities

Took a relative in. Waited almost 5 hours to see the doctor. By the time I arrived back home I hadn't eaten for almost 14 hours - I had no idea how long it would take so couldn't go and get food. The vending machine was broken. Also when I went in it was warm outside so I was wearing a sleeveless top. I didn't know it would take so long. After 5 hours of waiting and over an hour of him being seen by doctor and nurse it was freezing cold. I do not agree with the triage system. Obviously those in severe pain and with urgent issues should be seen first but others should be seen in order of arriving. You cannot tell me that all the people who came and went over the 5 hours we waited had a greater need than my relative. We were going to leave after 4 and a half hours but were told he was next so we stayed and waited another half hour... The doctor and nurses he saw were great but the wait was far too long. If you are going to have people wait so long please make sure the vending machine is working.

A really great experience and a huge thank you to especially Doctor Sophie and nurse Karen. Everyone involved was very professional, friendly, caring and the service outstanding from the welcoming person, via the receptionist, the nurses and the doctor. Yes, the waiting time was long but we were just grateful that someone could attend to the accident on a Friday evening. That the vending machine was out of order on that evening was just unlucky. I recommend to bring some snacks.
