★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 3 nights here. The owner of this small campground is a very friendly old lady. Nice place and cheap to stay (only 25$ per night and 2 persons). Kitchen and bath are good but small (limitless hot shower). The Kitchen can be fastly crowded around 6pm. Probably the best wlan access I've ever had since I'm in NZ (1month)...
Very good water quality (filtered ground water).
Bath could be a bit cleaner sometimes, but depends also on other guests...
Often no vacancy after 5pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 328 High Street is handy to the town centre. It has an open kitchen, showers and toilets. There is also tent sites and motel units. Price for the tent site was very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hidden gem right on the main road. Quiet spot with good facilities. Also very close to lots of cool places and activities. Our one night stay turned into 3 because we enjoyed it so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I knew it would be great since the phone call to book it but there, face to face, it was even better. I have been in many places around the world but have never met so friendly people. Unfortunately we had a horrible hail storm, but it was an amazing staying anyway as the hot and amazing shower was very good to warm up after that. As well an extra blanket provided was great for us that were sleeping in the car. Helping ourself with free range eggs and lemons were plus, as well a tin of X-mas cookies given to us by the owner. It was just unforgettable. We will come back for sure, many times. The best camping ground, I can't recommend any other one more than that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little campsite and lovely owner. Chickens and ducks roaming around and we even got given some eggs. Great hot showers and super clean facilities. Would happily stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very warm feeling, small campsite. Felt immediately welcomed upon meeting with the owner. Free wifi, hot showers, equipped kitchen, all for the lowest price you can get for a campsite. Will definitely return when passing through!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is very welcoming, we had a very comfortable stay. Everything about this place is great! There is also 2 adorable dogs there, which it really nice for traveller who miss being around animals. There are chickens and a great space for kids to run around. We watched the sun set over the mountains, it was beautiful. I highly recommend it and I will be back to stay at this place every time I am in the area. It has a very good vibe ?

Stunning views, very peaceful during the night, theres friendly chickens and ducks!
Facilities are great, kitchen area is big and tidy with all the utensils, bathroom is nice and clean!
I came with my van to spend the night and fully recommend it to everyone.
