★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here a good time ago, but still remember how we were treated there. The owners were extremely unfriendly. We slept in our van and asked, if we could use a vacuum cleaner to clean our car. The answer was no, but that's ok. What is not ok is the way how they told us. Their words made clear that they didn't like us at all. Some misunderstandings and a few more issues later we were not allowed to use the kitchen in the normal opening hours. We had to wait until it was cleaned at 11 pm and we were able to cook at midnight then.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people who stayed at the Hostel made my time really good, but I cannot say the same from the owners.
The facilities are always dirty, bathrooms, kitchen, especially rooms, I always vacuumed and did my bed by myself every week in the room and also put rubbish bag and fragance because they never doing them work. Everytime I ask for cleaning my room, I had to do it by myself. They don't know how to manage a hostel.
They also don't allow people who stayed before in the accommodation to visit us after they left. The owner should be nicer to customers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've stayed at this hostel for a long, long time and never had any complaints. It has the best kitchen I've seen in a hostel and they make a real effort to keep it clean. Showers are in good condition as well and so are the rooms.
Your stay highly depends on the other people in the hostel as the walls are quite thin and loud voices can be heard through them.
If you're in the Tasman area, this place will be your best shout. Huge outside area, small gym (equipment), a lovely manager.
5/5 from me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a bad stay for a backpackers, rooms are clean and the kitchen with outdoor area well appointed. The bathrooms weren't great though and could do with an update or a solid deep clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never have I been in such a filthy place. Bathrooms were disgusting. Hair all over the shower, still there next day. Paint peeling, mould and cobwebs for Africa. Toilets covered in urine. Avoid this place as your money obviously does not go towatds cleaning it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great stay here, the facilities were clean and tidy and they had everything you could need. We stayed for 4 nights, 2 adults and 1 child. There was plenty to do - the common room had books, games, TV with Netflix a pool table and more. Theres some playground equipment for the kids. We never had nothing to do, the environment was friendly and the staff always said hello and interacted with their guests. It can be noisy depending on other guests, to be expected in a backpackers and I bought earplugs for this reason. It was great to hear the cleaners happy voices and singing in the mornings, would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great hospitality guys :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here just for one night. I was very surprised of how well equipped, tidy and clean this hostel is. Our room had a tv with cable (first time seeing this in a hostel room lol) which was great because we were a bit tired to go to the common room to socialize. The kitchen is full equipped with cutlery, pans, spatulas, knives, chopping boards and plates. There’s a common room with a pool table, books and nice couches.
Toilets are big and there are three showers with good water pressure and a timer of 8 minutes for hot water (which is good for when the hostel is crowded).
