★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Similar experience to the above person. Couldn't unblock a drain to save themselves from my experience. Took 5 visits from someone who seemed like an unqualified apprentice, who changed something which ended up flooding my laundry and I had to get an emergency plumber to come and fix their mess. They then returned the next week with a wetvac and left a mess all through the house. In my opinion you should STAY AWAY

in my experience they have been incompetent, dishonest and unprofessional “
My concerns are:
(1)in June 25th 5Star recommend; at a fee; that there was a requirement for a CCTV inspection
of the 30mm water line.
This is an intentional deception ….. as a CCTV a camera cannot access a 30mm line
(2) clean up: repeatedly shoddy and incomplete …. Ultimately I had to complete the clean up myself
(3)The 5Star thrust then smashed through the 100mm common (6 households) septic line causing costs, inconvenience and health issues to all 6 households
5Star promises to cover all costs have not been kept, there have been no reply from 5Star to our emails for months at a time
They blame “tree roots” and “old pipes” for their incompetence BEWARE of 5Star !!
Star rating: less than 1 in fact ....NIL

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SORTS OF PLUMBING! YOU WILL REGRET IT! I wish I had read their reviews earlier. They came to my house and marked an area where they said it was "leaking". Because they had given us a quote on paper that didn't match what they had verbally given us(2.7k more) we decided to use another plumber to fix what they had found. After that plumber smashed up our concrete he discovered there was no leaking there what so ever! All lies. Please don't waste your money. The way they dealt with our concerns was appalling. I wish I didn't have to pay them but our credit rating means a lot to us hence why we were forced to make the payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We felt the service we got from these plumbers was so unprofessional. A father/son operation where the son is so obviously still learning the trade with little guidance from the father. The son was left on his own to do the job and took hours to complete it and charged us per hour, which turned out to be an exorbitant amount because of the time he took to do a simple job. It wasn't connected correctly and leaked in two places. The father then popped in to rectify this. The bill we got for disconnecting the dishwasher, Insinkerator and tap and reconnecting these items once our new kitchen was installed was ridiculous!! My husband tried to contact the father per e-mail and left messages on his phone on numerous occasions with no response. When my husband eventually got hold of him, he was told he would look into it and get back to us. We have still not heard from him! The $842.29 bill has been paid and still no response!! Not happy!! Will definitely not recommend them!!!

We had leak in May-2019. They suggested that it was the mains.
They fixed this. I did not want full mains replacement that was suggested.
In january-2020, there was another leak, so I called them again.
Suggestion was, mains again, needs full replacement this time.
Also, toilet is leaking, they said.
Both quotes, $2200.
After engaging another plumber, it happened to be hot-water cylinder.
Mike was really adamant that it was mains and he did not want to look any further. His words: "in my experience , it is mains. and I am in this business for 20 years."
He is suggesting expensive repairs without any reasons.
I found him arrogant and dismissive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like the person before me, I wish I had read the feedback, but I wanted to go local and was too trusting. Michael is a great talker but doesnt walk that talk. He totally butchered my antique gas stove I was renovating and when I pushed for completion his wife told me to get another Gas fitter, it was just a favour. Meanwhile his Son was doing the plumbing on my long awaited and saved for Bathroom/Laundry renovation." Leave it to me I know what I am doing" he said...Regretfully I did. This person should never work unsupervised and the result is a dishwasher fitting on my Laundry outlet for a washing machine outlet and a cable tie holding my machine hose and a gaping hole in the wall. My washing machine repairer said his 10 yr old daughter could have done a better job. I asked Michael to come sort things out but they disappeared on me...no surprises there.
Not the first unhappy customer, wont be the last...Be careful, you could be next.
