★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to take my car to the AA service centre in Paraparaumu because I have been deceived twice now by two previous workshops who claimed to have done work on my car which was NOT done, but listed on the job sheet as being done! We pay good money to these workshops and we expect to have our cars taken care of and the the work done that we are paying for!
Thinking the AA would be highly professional and very trustworthy... I was sadly mistaken and incredibly disappointed.
The front line staff were very friendly and professional but the failure of the workshop really let the whole team down.
My car was booked in for the premium top of the line "Platinum service" because I wanted my car fully checked over and the best service money can buy.
Not long after having my car serviced a whining sound developed under the bonnet.... in short, I took my car to a different mechanic for an inspection and it was discovered the power steering fluid was really low and very dirty. This mechanic flushed the power steering system and replaced the dirty oil with new oil and the problem was solved.
The AA centre mechanic obviously failed to notice or even check the power steering fluid and It makes me wonder what else was not checked!
Unfortunately as a result of my extremely disappointing experience I will never go to this AA centre again.
