Taxis may not be the cheapest way to get you in the park but the time you save is worth it. Furthermore, the lady who helped us was super kind. They sell food articles there that are WAY TO MUCH overpriced due to lack of alternatives in the surrounding areas. Stop by at Nelson to buy snacks and food on your way to Abel Tasman.

The staff is okay. She does not provide too much info about the trail. I had to prepare a few questions about it. The captain is amazing on the other hand. He stopped by tonga island and allowed us to watch dolphin.

Excellent service and organization. Booked a water taxi to Bark Bay two days prior to reservation. Expected point-to-point shuttling, but was pleasantly surprised when taxi driver paused along the route to point out interesting features of our journey. Office staff were also helpful and confident.

This place was a lifesaver! I flew into Nelson and everywhere had sold out of portable gas canisters. I was prepared to eat cold meals the whole walk. I was pleasantly surprised to find they stocked both gas canisters and waterproof matches. And at the same price as Mitre 10 too!

If you are gonna do the water taxi, do it further , close to the entry of the park, much better, walk less! although for a bit more money you can do the cruise. We arrived late in the centre. The staff didn’t even look at us. We waited until someone tried to look after us but nothing happened, so we called her and booked a water taxi. I felt like these 2 girls , they didn’t give a f... about us. She sent us to the carpark to park the car and say we had to wait for the boat..?... The water taxi was living in 5 minutes, she never told us a guy was gonna pick us up from the carpark, we had to guess. She also told us it was a 10 minutes walk from the start of the park till this place for when we finished the walk back through the national park, and she was wrong , it was 40 minutes. The water taxi wasn’t really pleasant , I had half a sit, so not enough space for all the people they were moving. The captain was unprofessional and arrogant. Felt uncomfortable the whole way. Couldn’t even take a photo. Abel Tasman is great tough, had lots of fun!

A amazing place to see deals. We made a one day route with kayak. The beach are amazing too. With low tide beautiful beachs appear.

Poor service. Not customer oriented. NOT. AT. ALL! Edit: They told us the walk we wanted to do takes 3,5h. So we booked the taxi at 10.30am and 4pm back. They also said, we can easily take an earlier one back if we are faster. Well, it only took us 2,5h for the walk and none of the earlier taxis at 2.30pm showed any interest in helping us so we had to wait 1,5h. The plastic covers on the taxi ruins the experience and the view of the beautiful national park. We asked if it is possible to lift them up but this was refused for no good reason.

We had a great experience with this company to do a hike -taxi and kayaking experience. Natalie was our guide and she was exceptional. She gave us a great amount of history and pointed out many things on the shore as well as what is happening in the area to restore it to its natural setting – our taxi driver on the boat was excellent also. I would highly recommend this company to others??
