S	Sonia A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy with the end product and experience. I went in for a hair colour with foils, nothing complicated and not many greys. I walked out minus $234 from my bank account and with wet hair. Got home, hair dried to show the colour was not right. It was patchy, the toner used did not cover all the hair. I contacted the salon and they offered to fix it. The second time the toner was left in too long - so the highlight/foils I paid a stupid amount for were covered up. I was told it would lighten up after a few washes! Nothing in my experience was worth the charge, I just feel duped.

Even their coffee is top notch. The staff is super pretty and kind . I went their for a dye, cut and treatment and I’m super happy with the results. I don’t really believe in treatments but even after 2 weeks my hair looks healthier. The only reason why I’m giving 4 stars is because it’s a bit expensive. I wish it was a bit cheaper .
M	Meg Price on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's such a nice place, spacious and relaxing. Ruby knows exactly what she's doing, she's awesome. My hair was difficult as it had previous bleaching and recent perming. Ruby's colouring job came out fantastic, I'm so happy. Highly recommended.
R	Rachael Anderson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was unfortunate enough to get my hair cut and coloured by Sage last Dec, she did not listen to what I had asked for, my hair was half way down my back, I asked it to be cut to my collarbone, she cut it to above my shoulders, it's only now grown to the length I had asked for. She barely let the hair dye set, I think it was on for about 20-30mins, she gave it a quick rinse, no offer of hair treatments, I still had a few greys showing, afterwards I had asked about hair care products to which she said she knew nothing about them. It seemed as though she was trying to fix a hair disaster for a woman at the basin and I was an inconvenience to be there. It's the first and last time I will use this place. I do not recommend!

While you wait you are offered a mini pampering with hot towel and hand cream. The stylists are very professional and know what they are doing. I walked away one happy customer- I will definitely be back and I do recommend Absolute Hair!

I felt bullied into paying way more for olaplex which I said I didn't want, but ended up not being given a choice. Then my hair was styled so badly I had to go home and chuck it in a ponytail. Disappointed. Response- Hi there, Thanks for the reply. The reason why it's been so long is I usually do all my Google reviews in bulk. As for telling you if I had a problem I actually did at the time and I was told the curls would drop and relax, they didn't. I came wanting a conditioning treatment and head massage as it was my birthday and I had had such an amazing first treatment with you. I had olaplex with my hairdresser the week before and was just there to relax, instead I was argued with everytime I tried to suggest another treatment. This is my first 2 star review ever. Because I left there feeling rail roaded. I get olaplex often with my hairdresser but was made to feel like it was the only option I could have. I knew how much olaplex cost, but I did not book in for olaplex. Hence why I was unhappy with what I paid as I didn't want olaplex, I just wanted a standard conditioning treatment which is what I had booked for. The experience I had could not be rectified as I had already stated I wasn't happy and was brushed off. And I wasn't going to be coming back in as what's the point? But thanks for your defensive response but my feelings and experience were what they were, no matter how much you try to argue or defend yourselves.
