★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a nice place to visit and get away from the tourists in the town centre beaches. Cool place to swim and have a picnic with the family. Gets a bit more shade in the afternoon so nice on a hot summer day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great spot for a swim with some amenities near by, including a public toilet and waste bins included. The water is relatively warm close to the shore, share the park with some lovely ducks and swans that are rather tame. Just over the road you can rent some kayaks or stand up paddle boards for some fun on the water. A lovely place for a family picnic. A++
