The bond will be released upon return of the undamaged vehicle. it can take up to 30 days for the funds to be released this is depended on your banking provider

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was quite an experience. Everything was great, the shuttle bus from the airport, service desk was quick and polite, drop off was perfect, the price was amazing. Then why you have it only 4 stars you ask? I will tell you here, I never expected to rent a car with 180000 km on the odometer. Yes, it was clean,but it was scary to drive long distance. The engine was showing its age, the breaks soft and you don't want to get stranded on your day trip in foren country. The rental needs to put this on the rental ad so I will be able to decide beforehand if I and ready to take this risk or not. Otherwise it was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dashboard in Japanese and can't be changed!! Car has 180,000 km on it and more scratches than my cat's scratch pole! Can't use GPS or Bluetooth music and is very dirty, can hardly see out the windscreen... Wish I could get my money back! Stuck with this garbage car for 10 days!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst ever rental company dealt with. Today I had a booking to pick up the car from their nearest airport yard. Rang their 0800 number no response rang their landline no response. Such waste of time and money. No shuttle service from airport to pickup point. Booked my self an uber to their place but was closed. If ur placed is closed then how the heck you can take booking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service in Auckland: airport pickup and drop off prompt and courteous; counter staff polite and informative with getting and returning the car. Car was a Japanese import but as I ordered, tank showing full, newish with around 100k on the clock. New tyres; drove very well. The only problem is an odd policy they have which will not allow the use of a joint Visa or MasterCard that's also a debit card. I've used joint function cards regularly with other car rentals so can't see what the problem was, and neither could staff adequately explain it. So I had to pay an extra fee, that gets you wondering ...

1. The Lady at the reception lacked knowledge of her own job. Lacks how to interact with the customer’s and was too rude.
2. Were made to buy a insurance from them again which we had already paid online through “rentalcars.com” as we were not holding credit card.
3. We were given other car, while we booked for the Kia carnival which was not similar to what we booked for.
4. After we said we wanna cancel it straight away then they agreed to give us the car which booked for.
5. The car was not at all cleaned, and the baby seat was also full of stains.
6. It took us almost 2 hours to pick up the car resulting in our loss of time and money aswell coz we couldn’t make it to out prior booked destination.(like motels and cruize tours).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service. Wouldnt recommend with these guys.... Got an unclean car, unvacuumed with icecream wrappers, drink bottles etc left in car. Also tank not fill of fuel. Receptionist agreed to discount our 4 day hire by us dropping car back with half a tank of fuel but when we did that they backed out and wouldn't uphold their word and charged us for fuel. Need to learn basic customer service if they want to get repeat customers.
