★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother recently turned 70, so I thought we'd travel to Acorns of Clevedon and purchase a couple of jumpers that she'd put on hold. We got there at about 8:50 am as Acorns of Clevedon opens at 9 am, which would give us plenty of time to purchase the jumpers, buy a coffee and get back in time for an appointment. Easy right? We waited for over an hour for Acorns of Clevedon to open, until 10:05 am, before walking back to the car, only to pass the shop assistant walking past with a coffee in hand. When we inquired about the advertised 9 am opening time, she responded that the owner had forgotten to change the times. Although she'd never admit it, I could see the disappointment on my mother's face. Needless to say, we did not stay to purchase the items, nor will we be back to Acorns of Clevedon anytime soon.
