Terrible service! Not recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't come here. I was told the price was going to be $250 to fix/replace my Toyota's combination switch with an aftermarket part. When I went to pick up the car, Aaron gave me a bill for $578.70.
I asked, "Wasn't it $250?" ( I naively thought that would be the total price). He said, "Oh, I meant to say $350." (i.e. for the part only). Yea, great.
Then, labour was another $89/hr (for 2 hours), plus taxes, freight, etc.
I looked up how much the part actually costs. The MOST expensive one I could find in NZ was around $120. Most were around $100. So, are they marking up parts by 200%, or maybe they're getting ripped off by their own parts dealer?
Anyways, those are just the facts. Not sure why he decided to rip me off. Maybe because I don't seem like a "local". I was going to book my WOF here for convenience, but decided not to now. In any case, avoid this place unless you want to be ripped off.
Enjoy your extra couple hundred bucks.
